Donna Sennott’s passion for reading has remained a constant throughout her life. Eagerly contributing to Read to a Child’s mission of promoting children’s literacy, she initially joined the organization as a Program Coordinator in the fall of 2022. Presently, Donna holds the role of Program Manager, overseeing educational initiatives in Hartford schools. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Donna actively contributes to the organization’s developmental efforts, aiming to broaden its services in the region.
Embarking on her professional journey as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) post-graduation from the University of Connecticut, Donna later transitioned into the non-profit sector. While nurturing her family, she dedicated her time to volunteering with various non-profits and assumed leadership as the president of the Theatre Guild of
Simsbury. Further enriching her credentials, Donna earned a master's degree in organizational psychology in 2022.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Donna remains committed to community service in a voluntary capacity. Currently serving as the Treasurer for Simsbury Community Media and holding a board member position at the Valley YMCA, she exemplifies a dedicated advocate for the betterment of her community.
