Read to a Child’s approach is based on the premise that a lifelong love of reading is a driver of opportunity for children throughout their lifetime and we were founded on the belief that every child deserves to be read to by a caring adult.

Help make that vision a reality by taking action and getting involved with Read to a Child. There are many ways to show your support - getting your company involved as a corporate partner, becoming a reading mentor in the Read Aloud Mentoring Program, attending an upcoming event in your region or by simply donating to support our programs.

Your support and involvement will help us continue to cultivate lifelong readers.

“ArcLight has been an enthusiastic supporter of Read to a Child for over 10 years. We believe that the love of reading is one of the greatest gifts that we can give children in under-resourced communities to help them succeed in school and later in life. We are delighted to partner with Read to a Child to support their mission of empowering children through the simple act of reading.”

“Developing a love of reading at an early age is so important. It’s the reason Travelers has been a proud supporter of Read to a Child for many years and why our employees dedicate countless hours volunteering for this program.”
