Emily has recently joined Read to a Child in 2022! Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s degree in Management from the Heller School at Brandeis University. She has spent her career managing both programs and volunteers. For almost a decade, she managed volunteers and implemented programs for senior adults at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC. She also comes to Read to a Child with a strong background in experiential education, working as an educator both at camps and area synagogues. As a Program Manager in Greater Boston, she supports seven schools in the area through volunteer recruitment and training, as well as program management. Emily has a strong love of reading, enjoying both reading to her children and discussing books in her book club.
