Gloria Jolley, Executive Director for the Greater Los Angeles Region, joined Read to a Child December 2019. She is a graduate of Boston College (BC) and received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with graduate certificates from BC in Political Science and Boston University in Professional Fundraising. Gloria has enjoyed a successful career in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, with extensive experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, community relations, and foundations. She also has extensive fundraising experience for political candidates at the local, state, and federal level. A first-generation college graduate, Gloria is passionate about creating impact and opportunity for students to thrive. She is extremely proud of her work with the Greater Los Angeles Region team to develop and launch a virtual Read Aloud Mentoring Program during this pandemic, along with helping to create the Remote Read Aloud Program. Gloria currently serves on The WICT Network Southern California Chapter’s Board of Directors and is the Co-Chair of their Mentoring Program.
