Lily Andrews is the Director of Read to a Child Greater Hartford, leading program teams and collaborating with community partners to serve the students of Hartford. A graduate of Smith College and Columbia University, she has worked with the United Nations, various governments, and non-profit organizations in pursuit of the public good. An avid reader and poet, she dedicates her work with Read to a Child to her grandmother, who for years volunteered to teach young children to read.
