Michele joined Read to a Child in August 2023 as a Program Coordinator, a position in which she continues to serve at Whitman Elementary School in Pontiac. In 2025, she assumed the additional role of Program Manager, supporting Read to a Child’s programs across Southfield and Pontiac in Metro Detroit.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Secondary Education and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Michele brings to her work a strong foundation in both education and child development. She is passionate about fostering a love of reading, supporting children’s social-emotional growth, and creating meaningful opportunities for students to succeed. Michele is honored to contribute to Read to a Child’s mission of inspiring lifelong readers and learners.
