Read to a Child CEO Paul Lamoureux interviewed with the Greater Boston Comcast Newsmakers. They discussed how critical it is for children to be reading at grade level by the 4th grade. Studies have shown that this benchmark is crucial for a child’s ability to learn and have success in school. Then, Paul Lamoureux discusses how the Read Aloud Mentoring Program is addressing the achievement gap in under-resourced communities, that the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated.
