As Program and Development Manager, Katie is dedicated to supporting the staff and volunteers of Metro Detroit in their mission to bring the joy of reading to children. With extensive experience in education, volunteering, and working with children, Katie holds a degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Her love for reading shines through in her enthusiasm for reading aloud to her two sons, and this same passion inspired her to join the Metro Detroit Read to a Child team.
