Read to a Child’s Los Angeles office began operating in 2002, serving children in Los Angeles county. Currently, the Read to a Child Lunchtime Reading Program is offered at seven Los Angeles county elementary schools. The Los Angeles office enjoys support from many of the city’s largest firms that extend their community impact through responsible corporate citizenry by partnering with Read to a Child to provide volunteers and resources to support our mission. Currently, nearly 250 corporate volunteers are opening up the world of reading one lunchtime at a time. To learn more about corporate sponsorship opportunities and volunteering with Read to a Child Los Angeles contact Alex Fey at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 310.208-5300.
If you are interested in volunteering at one of our Los Angeles Schools, please first familiarize yourself with our Lunchtime Reading Program, verify that you are able to make the weekly lunchtime commitment throughout the school year, and determine if one of our school locations is convenient for you. Once you are ready to enroll, reach out to us at email@example.com.
