Read to a Child® recruits lunchtime reading volunteers from companies, government groups and other community organizations. Check to see if your company participates in our program. If so, contact your company point person and tell them that you’d like to make a difference by reading aloud to a child.
Become a Corporate or Community Supporter
National partners support Read to a Child® financially and with human resources, funding programs and allowing us to recruit their employees as volunteers in multiple cities. Local organizations can get involved by contacting their nearest Read to a Child® office directly.

Make a Donation to Read to a Child®
You can help us attain our goal of reaching even more children. Individuals and organizations can donate to Read to a Child online by credit card, by mail via check or by phone for stock. For more information, call 781-489-5910. Gifts to Read to a Child, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, are fully deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Spreading the word about Read to a Child will not only match more children with much-needed volunteer readers, it will help raise awareness about the importance of reading, the issues surrounding children’s literacy and the community benefits of mentoring.
