Since 2007 more than 180 AEG employees have volunteered more than 2,300 hours to read to students at one of Los Angeles Unified School District’s oldest elementary schools in the Pico-Union community. AEG, the world’s leading sports and entertainment company, is continuing its 11-year partnership with Read to a Child, a national nonprofit literacy and mentoring organization, as a Corporate Reading Partner to increase literacy in Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Each week throughout the school year, AEG employees volunteer to meet with a student at Tenth Street Elementary and read aloud to them as part of Read to a Child’s Lunchtime Reading Program.
Agero has been a committed corporate partner since 2006, providing both employee volunteers and financial support for our programming in greater Boston. Most notably, Agero consistently steps up as a Presenting Sponsor for our Annual Gala.
ArcLight Capital Partners
A major supporter of Read to a Child in Boston, as well as nationally, ArcLight Capital Partners funding supports expansion and allows Read to a Child to continue to provide high-quality programming to its volunteers and high-need students and schools.
The Assurant Foundation provides financial assistance to non-profit organizations to help improve the quality of life in the communities where we live and work. Assurant is a long time financial supporter of Read to a Child and has provided the bulk of reading volunteers at Pine Lake Elementary in Miami.
A Read to a Child partner since 2013, Bloomberg provides both reading mentors and financial support to the Detroit program. Collectively, Bloomberg volunteers have read hundreds of books to students at Warren Bow Elementary in the Detroit Public Schools. We are very appreciative of their continued support and look forward to strengthen our partnership.

Read to a Child has had a longstanding partnership with Cabot Corporation and the Cabot Foundation since 2005. Cabot funding and employee participation have been a crucial part of our ability to bring the lunchtime reading program to the most high-risk students in greater Boston.
Capital Group’s commitment to local communities is demonstrated each year as associates personally support more than 3,000 nonprofit organizations. In turn, Capital Group enhances that support with funding from grants and matching gifts. For 11 years volunteers from Capital Group in L.A. have supported Read to a Child by contributing over 3,000 one-on-one reading hours for L.A.’s most vulnerable children in the Lunchtime Reading Program at local schools. Capital Group’s financial support and investment includes board leadership to help direct the strategic growth of Read to a Child.
We have been an annual recipient of an Eastern Bank Community Grant for many years. Eastern Bank is now also a sponsor of our National Gala and Annual Online Fundraiser.
Eaton Vance is a longstanding and strategic supporter of Read to a Child in Greater Boston. The launch of our financial literacy program, annual increases in volunteer engagement, ongoing event sponsorship and Board participation, continue to make Eaton Vance a valued supporter. We are proud of this partnership.
RSA has been a supporter of Read to a Child for over 10 years. Their commitment to the children in the Billerica, MA Schools is evident each year as over 25 readers, many of whom have been in the program for many years, visit the schools weekly to read.Their dedication truly impacts the children’s lives.
Holland and Knight
Holland and Knight in Miami is a long time partner and currently provides volunteers, funding, and is represented on our National and Miami Regional Board!
Integrity Services has been a supporter of Read to a Child since 2015 and has sponsored program operations, online fundraising campaign’s and our annual gala each year since then.
in 2016 Liberty Mutual Insurance became a major supporter of Read to a Child based upon a grant voted on by employees. Liberty Mutual employees now also volunteer as reading mentors in greater Boston schools.
Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation
We are extremely pleased to add the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the official team charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers, as a new primary supporter in 2016! The primary focus of the Dodgers Foundation is to strengthen and support cornerstone programs (including Education + Literacy) to benefit children and families in need, as well as to be a vehicle for positive change in underserved communities throughout the greater Los Angeles region.
Read to a Child is a proud inaugural recipient of a Mutual Impact grant award as voted on by MassMutual employees. Through the lunchtime reading program, MassMutual employees serve as volunteer reading mentors in greater Boston schools.
New York Life
A Read to a Child partner since 2003, New York Life provides both employee volunteers and annual financial support. Read to a Child is honored to have been the recipient of a significant Community Impact Grant in 2013 and 2015.
A longstanding and dedicated partner, Pitney Bowes first supported Read to a Child in 2006 with a national expansion grant from its Literacy and Education Fund. Since then, Pitney Bowes continues to provide essential and strategic support for Read to a Child’s work to benefit underserved children across the country through board leadership along with funding.
In line with their priority to help disadvantaged youth to succeed in education, Staples has partnered with Read to a Child since 2007 to provide both employee volunteers and grant support for programming in greater Boston.
Throughout our eight year history with TJX, significant corporate volunteerism and foundation support have been the heart of this thriving partnership. Most recently, this partnership allowed Read to a Child to bring the lunchtime reading program to a new Boston-area community with demonstrated need.
Travelers has been a key partner for over ten years with large numbers of employees collectively providing thousands of hours of one-on-one reading for at-risk children in Hartford, CT. The Travelers Foundation also provides essential funds for running programming in Connecticut.
